Dental Implants

Living your life with missing teeth is like trying to win a game of chess without all the pieces. If your incomplete smile, missing teeth, or failing teeth are keeping you from living your life fully then dental implants are the answer. Dental implants can be a great way to restore anywhere from one tooth to an entire upper or lower arch of teeth. Many of these options are non-removable and can be cared for just like your natural teeth – so you can live your life to the fullest again. Woodstock General & Implant Dentistry is the recognized leader in dental implant technology and expertise across the greater Hudson Valley.

Dental Crowns & Bridges

Traditional porcelain crowns fused to metal reinforce weak teeth and mask imperfections in shape and color. At Woodstock General & Implant Dentistry, we no longer promote these materials because metal-based crowns (and bridges) can give a grey appearance at the gum line. When a tooth becomes cracked or decayed, it is more likely to fracture and lose considerable tooth substance. If the fracture goes below the gum line, restoration becomes much more difficult.  Therefore we utilize the 21st-century material Prettau® Zirconia to create highly durable bridges and crowns. This superior material creates strong, long-lasting smiles that are indistinguishable from a natural set of teeth. It also is naturally resistant to stains, odors, bacteria, and chipping or cracking. You can enjoy all your favorite foods, smile, laugh, and talk again without worrying about your smile.

Dentures

Dentures are artificial teeth (and gums) that replace natural teeth lost due to disease, decay, or trauma.

There are several types of dentures. Complete dentures replace all of the patient’s teeth, while partial dentures typically replace just a few missing teeth. Traditional dentures do require daily upkeep that differs from caring for natural teeth.
